Questions
Before you book.
Ask us anything on WhatsApp. A person from our Shimla team replies.
How many days do I need for a Shimla Kullu Manali trip?
A comfortable circuit needs at least 6 to 7 days: 1 to 2 nights in Shimla, 1 night in Kullu, and 3 to 4 nights in Manali as the main base. Shorter 5-night versions exist but move faster between stops.
What is the usual route order for this circuit?
Most trips run Shimla first, then Kullu, then Manali as the final and longest stop, since Manali has the most sightseeing and Rohtang or Atal Tunnel access. The return leg goes back via Chandigarh or Delhi.
Is this different from your Kullu Manali only package?
Yes. This circuit adds Shimla to the trip and runs longer overall, since it covers three towns instead of two. If you only want Kullu and Manali without Shimla, our Kullu Manali Tour Package page is the shorter, focused option.
What is the best time of year for this circuit?
March to June for pleasant weather across all three towns, July to September for green monsoon valleys, and December to February if you specifically want snow at Kufri, Solang and Rohtang.
Do I get a different hotel each night or fixed stays?
You get one hotel per destination, not per night, so you check in once in Shimla, once in Kullu and once in Manali rather than switching hotels daily. This keeps the trip relaxed rather than a constant pack-and-move.
