How far is Manali from Chandigarh and how long does it take?

About 270 km via Bilaspur and Mandi on NH205 and NH3, taking 7 to 8 hours by car. It's a single-day drive, unlike the Delhi route, so no overnight halt is needed if you start in the morning.

Is Chandigarh to Manali doable in one day by car?

Yes, comfortably. Leaving Chandigarh by 7 or 8 AM gets you into Manali by early to mid evening, with a lunch stop around Mandi or Bilaspur along the way.

Do you pick up from Chandigarh airport or only the city?
