Most trips cover Shimla, Manali and Kullu. With more days you can add Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj, Dalhousie and Khajjiar, Kasol or Kasauli. Tell us your days and we'll suggest a route that doesn't waste time on the road.
3 to 4 days is enough for Shimla or Manali alone. Shimla and Manali together need 5 to 6 days. For a full Himachal circuit with Dharamshala and Dalhousie, plan 9 to 10 days.

March to June is pleasant for sightseeing. December to February brings snow to Shimla, Kufri, Manali and Solang. July and August are monsoon months with rain in the hills, and September to November is clear and quiet.
